have retired from job, but are full time life-livers.

Faithseekers is a class of
various ages. They work toward being more Christ-centered
in their lives by becoming more familiar with the Bible
and applying what they read and study to their daily lives.
A recent study source was Shirley Guthrie's Christian
Doctrine.

Associate Pastor's Study
This men's Bible study class
uses the PC(USA) curriculum, The Present Word. Teachers
and learners come together to reflect on the Biblical
text and to act on what they discover there. The
sessions feature the great celebrations of the Christian
church, which rehearse the life of Christ and bring to
believers the significant events of His life.
Fun-DA-Middle:

Small Conference Room, Everette House
This is a class of parent(s)
of mid-highs. Their discussion revolves around sharing
ideas that work for them in raising their mid-high youth.
As parents, their goal is to help their children become
responsible adults. They offer each other encouragement
and wisdom.

They are studying The Present
Word, PC(USA) curriculum that emphasizes the Bible as
God's revelation and the major source of understanding
the Christian faith. It underscores the Biblical witness
as the most effective means of teaching the Gospel, giving
attention to issues such as personal faith, ethics, human
relationships, community responsibility, resurrection
hope and the implications of Christian discipleship under
the Lordship of Christ and in the fellowship of His Spirit.

Helping Out Others) :

This group is studying Philip Yancy's book "Amazing
Grace".
WOW
(Women of the Word)
This
study group is reading Philip Yancy's book "The Jesus
I never Knew". We meet on Wednesday mornings at 9:30
a.m. in the Everette House. In these hectic times, we
long to create space for God in our lives. Through devotional
reflections and readings, art, meditation and prayer,
Postema leads us on a rewarding spiritual journey that
can lead to a fuller life with God.
